Chapter 2: Hardware Setup

To remove the RAM Module:

Follow steps 1 to 2 of "To install the RAM module" to remove the circuit board.

To remove the RAM module, follow the steps below:

Release the levers on the memory slot by pushing outwards simultaneously.

Hold the memory module by the edges and remove it from the slot.

Follow step 4 of "To install the RAM module" to replace the circuit board.

Replace Redundant Power Supplies on RackStation

Push the lever of the redundant power supply at the back panel in the indicated direction.

Pull out the redundant power supply from the RackStation.

Only for RS815RP+.
